What's up with creationism anyway?

I heard this great piece on NPR a few weeks ago about the evolving debate about the teaching of creationism versus evolution in public schools. Joe Palca and his guests lay out the current state of the debate, explaining how opponents of teaching evolution have retreated from trying to get creationism taught alongside evolution, to instead push to get public schools to teach about the "weaknesses" of evolution, indirectly injecting the teaching of creationism into the curriculum.
